J. Nicholas Cuneo, Managing Partner
J. Nicholas (“Nick”) Cuneo graduated from Leland Stanford Junior University in Palo Alto, California in 1975, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics. He attended and graduated from law school at the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA.) in 1979. Mr. Cuneo is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and has served as a speaker/lecturer and author of various publications for several local family law associations. He serves as a mediator for the Los Angeles Superior Court, Family Law Department and a former member of the Executive Committee of the Los Angeles County Bar Association Family Law Section. Mr. Cuneo has substantial experience in general civil litigation with an emphasis in complex family law matters and has been an AV Rated attorney for over 25 years and one of the Best Lawyers In America.
Janina A. Verano, Partner
Janina A. Verano: Your Experienced Family Law Advocate
Janina A. Verano graduated with honors from the University of California, Riverside in 2004. Her academic journey led to the attainment of a Bachelor of Arts degree in History & Sociology, along with a minor in Law. Subsequently, she earned her law degree, cum laude, from Pepperdine University School of Law in 2010. Her academic achievements were celebrated as she was honored as the Greenwald Scholar and the Delman & Krug Scholar by the School of Law, as well as the White & Case, LLP scholar by the Mexican American Bar Foundation.
In 2011, Ms. Verano embarked on her career in family law, specializing exclusively in this field. Her extensive experience encompasses representing a diverse clientele, including business owners, commercial real estate developers, entertainers, and other professionals in complex family law cases.
Ms. Verano is committed to providing expert legal counsel to her clients. Notably, she is fluent in Spanish, ensuring that her services are accessible to a wide range of individuals and families.
